Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information WinningCat collects when you use the site, and how it is used. WinningCat is operated as an independent project. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, addresses, or payment details directly. The information involved is limited to:

• Analytics data via Google Analytics (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type). This is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• Server logs such as IP address and request details, kept for security and to keep the site running.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. Some outbound links to Amazon carry an affiliate tag (see below), and Amazon may set its own cookies once you arrive on their site. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

Amazon affiliate links

WinningCat is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an "on Amazon" link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links may pass an affiliate identifier to Amazon so the referral can be credited. We do not receive your purchase details from Amazon, only aggregate referral reporting.

Purchases of the dataset

The paid dataset is sold through Gumroad. When you buy it, your payment and contact details are handled by Gumroad as the merchant of record, under Gumroad's own privacy policy. We receive only the information Gumroad shares with sellers, such as your email address, so we can deliver the file and send free updates.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising beyond the affiliate links described above.
